Soo, a lot of time passed since I posted here... My life took some unexpected turns, I went thru bankruptcy, left Russia. I'm in Armenia right now. I am not sure where I'll end up some time later. Well, I have to find a job or a more or less stable source of income. I also need to fix my laptop's DC 5.5x2.5 jack, since it keeps disconnecting regularly when I plug the power source in.
Other than that, I have moved completely to modding GTA IV/V from SA (mostly IV as I can't export vehicles directly from 3ds Max to yft aka V native file format for vehicles).
This year I'm planning to release only Vapid cars. So, here are some of the WIPs
1. Vapid Stanier II pack for Grand Theft Auto IV
The pack would consist of (most likely):
Vapid Stanier '01 (the one with chrome trim, mesh rims)
Vapid Stanier '05 (sport version, has double exhausts, black plastic trunk trim, different grille)
Police, Noose and Taxi (no pics of them yet)
2. Vapid Flash pack for Grand Theft Auto V
The project is kinda messy, it began just with Flash BS3 which had base version kind of ready, had some tuning parts, custom engine model. custom interior. Then I decided to add wagon and sedan versions and realised I would have to rework the car's roof and rear end to have some 'shared' parts between all versions. So, the interior panels visible on the pic of BS5 are actually leftovers from older BS3 and they look out of place. The pack will end up looking pretty different from IV version. Flash SR from the pack will be replaced with a tuning kit based on Focus SVT.
As for Flash GT aka widebody/rally Flash hatch... well, I should finish the regular ones first...
Planned versions:
Flash BS3 (3-door hatch, basically Focus ZX3)
Flash BS4 (4-door sedan, name refers to ZX4 but it's more of... ZTS? Well, basically 2000-2004 US Focus sedan)
Flash BS5 (5-door hatch)
Flash BSW (wagon, name again refers to ZXW but it's more of just 2000-2004 US Focus Wagon).
3. Vapid Cosmic 1960 sedan for Grand Theft Auto IV
Well, this is a new one. Based on 1960 Ford Galaxie mostly. It's still very early WIP, so the looks of it will change to a certain extent.
4. Vapid Yankee pack? for Grand Theft Auto IV
Also a rather early WIP, basically Yankee with slightly altered front-end to look more like 1980s F600/F700 and 1980s Ford L-Series. Currently, only the armored truck version exists. I will change the rear lights of it, since the current ones are just meh
5. Vapid Speedo/Steed (haven't decided on the name yet, maybe GTA VI's Econoline will have a new name) reworked for Grand Theft Auto IV
Another rather early WIP. Currently only the 1992 model year version exists. I'm planning to do a 2008 version too with a front looking more like European 2006 Ford Transit.
